Meet Dr. Kattar

Dr. Fadi J. Kattar grew up in Southern California and received his undergraduate pre-dental training from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB); where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Southern California (USC), School of Dentistry. Dr. Kattar practiced general dentistry in Los Angeles for several years before deciding to further his education and training in endodontics.

In 2007, Dr. Kattar pursued his post-doctoral studies at the USC School of Dentistry’s Advanced Graduate Endodontic Program; where he was Co-Chief Resident and received his specialty degree in endodontics. Dr. Fadi Kattar practiced endodontics in Downtown Los Angeles, West Los Angeles and the South Bay. He is a member of various local and national dental organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and his local dental society. He continues his commitment to dentistry by regularly attending courses to stay current with the latest advances in the field. He takes pride in being gentle and taking meticulous care of every patient.

For several years Dr. Kattar donated his time as a part-time faculty member at the USC School of Dentistry Emergency Clinic. He also provided desperately needed dental care to under-served communities in California and the less fortunate abroad through various volunteer networks.

On a personal note, Dr. Fadi Kattar loves spending quality time with his family. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, playing tennis and traveling. He’s a loyal fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and the USC football team.
